Juneau, Alaska


Juneau is located on the Gastineau channel in the alaskan panhandle. The population of alaska is 686,293. The land area of Alaska is 663,268 square miles. The GDP per capita of Alaska is $43,321 a year. Juneau is next to the Gastineau Channel. They speak English in alaska. When I was in Alaska I visited Mendenhall Lake and Mendenhall Glacier. It was there I saw the northern lights and the giant ice caves. Then I rode a gondola lift to the top of a mountain that looks down on the city. there was a great view from up there.

British Columbia

British Columbia, Canada borders the Pacific Ocean, Alaska, the Yukon, the Northwest Territories and the three U.S. states Washington, Idaho and Montana. The population of B.C. is 4,419,974. B.C. has 944,735 square km. of land. The GDP per capita is C$41.689 a year. The biggest body of water around B.C. is the Pacific Ocean. 71% of people in British Columbia speak English. During my stay in B.C. I went to Garibaldi Lake, a giant lake just south Black tusk. I also visited whistler B.C., a mountain known for its slopes. The snow in British Columbia is second to none. I had a great time.
